Characterization of blast furnace dust for reintroduction into the agglomeration process

Significant amounts of dust from the processing cast iron in furnace can be considered as by-products for technological flow agglomeration, having an adequate chemical and structural composition. Blast contains significant metals non-metals that recovered by various methods. The transformation these recyclable materials reuse into metal producing units is essential not only conservation mineral resources but also protection environment. This paper presents mineralogical characterization blast resulting iron, a useful analysis this material to reintroduced agglomeration process. From obtained results it was found SiO2 fine granular form (<1 mm) which determines fluidization slag production furnace, well fact helps binder phases agglomerate due powders have high thermo-chemical activity first phase formation initial liquid melt triggers reaction between solid.
